The Judgesrun Foundation was formed in memory of Utah Judge Anne M. Stirba. Judge Stirba’s battle with breast cancer and her attitude and courage in fighting the disease served as an inspiration to all who knew her. While her personal fight is over, her legacy is not, and the Judgesrun Foundation carries on her fight and millions of others as we all work to find a cure for breast cancer. With those who support us, one day that will happen.

The Judgesrun Foundation is a charitable, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising and contributing funds to breast cancer research at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Foundation organizes various events to achieve this aim. Among the annual events hosted are a 5K Fun Run/Walk, which is now in its twelfth year, and a golf tournament, now in its fourth year. The Foundation sponsored a first annual Guinness World Records golf event on April 26, 2008, where local golf pro, Terry Devine, continuously drove 1,000 golf balls over 100 yards in under an hour setting a world record! The Foundation is also planning a live concert in Spring 2010 as another part of its fundraising effort. Prominent attorney Peter Stirba began the Foundation in memory of his wife, Utah state trial court Judge Anne M. Stirba, who lost her 10-year battle with breast cancer in 2001.

Judgesrun Foundation is always seeking sponsors for its various events, and all sponsorships and donations are tax-deductible.
